"No matter what scales we use, we can never know the weight of another person's
burdens. If you are facing an unexpected pregnancy, those burdens may seem
insurmountable. You may not even want to admit to yourself that you are
pregnant. I, personally, have been affected by an unplanned pregnancy and know
many other women in similar circumstances. First and foremost please understand
that you are not alone and I can help you through your current fear and
confusion. Although your situation is vastly different from anyone else's
because of the deeply personal issues involved, everyone has generally three
choices. You will need to decide if you will parent your child, make an
adoption plan for your child, or abort your child. The right to choose includes
the right to know, so take every opportunity to educate yourself. This is one
of the biggest decision you will ever make, so be careful to weigh your options
based on information rather than emotion. Calmly talk to those who will be
affected by your decision such as your parents, your baby's father and his
parents. However, be assured that you will be the one most affected by your
decision so make a choice you will look back on with satisfaction. Whatever you
